Basic CSR Policy and Code of Conduct

The Kaga Electronics Group fulfills its corporate social responsibility (CSR) to achieve a more prosperous future through electronics. We endeavor to make our stance on CSR understandable for our stakeholders. In addition, we think deeply about the kind of role we can play to benefit the global environment and a society unlimited by national and regional borders, and we act and contribute accordingly.

Basic CSR Policy

The Kaga Electronics Group, seeking to enhance our enterprise value taking into consideration compliance and the global environment, promotes corporate social responsibility under the Corporate Philosophy of “Everything we do is for our customers.”

1Sound Business Activities
The Kaga Electronics Group conducts sound and fair business activities, following international rules, relevant laws and regulations, and internal rules. We maintain healthy relationships with governments and administrations, and prohibit any relationship with antisocial forces and groups that threaten the order and safety of society.
2Contributing to Society
The Kaga Electronics Group actively contributes to society to help it improve.
3Environmental Protection
The Kaga Electronics Group constantly monitors the future of electronics and strives to protect and improve the natural environment.
4Respecting Human Rights
The Kaga Electronics Group respects each person’s individuality and basic human rights, and treats all people fairly, without discrimination. We provide a healthy workplace where people can work in safety. We eliminate forced labor and child labor, and respect basic human rights and the basic rights of workers.
5Information Disclosure
The Kaga Electronics Group manages corporate information appropriately and discloses it in a fair and prompt manner. It additionally practices reliable financial reporting based on accurate accounting.

Kaga Electronics Group Code of Conduct

In keeping with the Kaga Electronics Group Corporate Philosophy of “Everything we do is for our customers,” Group executive officers and employees (including contract employees, temporary workers, and the like) shall fulfill our corporate social responsibility (CSR) at all times in the performance of their work and faithfully follow the rules laid out in this Code of Conduct in order to enhance our enterprise value.

1Legal Compliance
Comply with all company rules and all laws of those nations where we conduct business activities.
2Fair Trade
Maintain fair and just relationships with all parties with whom we do business.
3Information Management and Confidentiality Obligations
Recognize the importance of intellectual property. Properly manage and protect all company assets, tangible and intangible, as well as internal and external confidential information including personal information, recognizing our obligations of confidentiality.
4Information Disclosure
Work to disclose information in a timely, appropriate, and fair manner to secure our business activities and transparency.
5Environmental Protection
To protect the global environment, comply with relevant statutes and rules, while working proactively to protect the environment.
6Conflicts of Interest and Illicit Profits
Do not engage in any acts contrary to the company’s interests. Additionally, do not use personal status at the company to engage improperly in acts for private gain.
7Gift-Giving, Entertainment, Etc.
If exchanging gifts or entertainment with a business partner, etc., act in conformity with sound business customs and socially accepted practice and do not violate the law.
8Antisocial Forces
Take a firm stance against antisocial forces and groups and prohibit any trade or relationships with them.
9Respecting Human Rights and Working Environment
Respect basic human rights and privacy and do not engage in any discriminatory speech, conduct or acts that degrade personal dignity.
10Insider Trading
Do not buy or sell shares, etc. in violation of insider trading statutes.
