In recent years, the business environment facing companies has undergone significant changes, reflecting factors such as efforts to respond to climate change, accelerated technological innovation, and tightening international regulations.
Amidst these changes, the Kaga Electronics Group formulated its Medium- to Long-Term Sustainability Management Plan in November 2021. This plan outlines concrete initiatives that address key environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, providing guidelines for sustainable growth into the next generation.
To ensure our approach to these initiatives, we have established the Sustainability Committee, of which I am the chair, and also have built a management structure directly under the committee, comprised of subcommittees dedicated to environmental management promotion, diversity promotion, governance, and other responsibilities.
Guided by the top management's commitment, we are working across the group on the key issues of creating a clean global environment, an inclusive company as well as an affluent society, and a sustainable management base.
Based on the policy above, we promote environmental considerations in all aspects of our business activities, ensuring that each and every employee is aware of and strives to practice environmental conservation in their daily work.
Additionally, by delivering products and services designed to help resolve environmental and energy issues, we aim to realize a sustainable society while looking ahead to the future of electronics.
Ultimately, the most important element of corporate management is the people who support the business. We believe that, for a company to grow sustainably, it is crucial to provide active support for the work-life management of each and every employee, and to create a workplace environment where they can work brightly and energetically, thriving in terms of both mental and physical health. We therefore focus our efforts on health management.
Moving forward, the Kaga Electronics Group will remain committed to pursuing sustainability management that aims to achieve both a sustainable society and its own sustainable growth as a unified group, while also cherishing dialogue with all of our stakeholders, including customers, business partners, shareholders, investors, and employees.
