The Kaga Electronics Group develops a variety of electronics-related businesses by maximising its strengths as an independent operator, meeting a wide-range of needs from users in the following fields:

  1. General electronics parts Sales.
  2. Semiconductors (memory, ASIC, etc.) Sales
  3. EDMS (Electronics Design Manufacturing Services)
  4. Sales of information equipment (MAC's, PC and peripherals)
  5. Planning, development and sales of items ranging from custom semiconductors to software,
information communication systems and the like, and IT-related business.

We are making efforts in the innovative electronic industry as an up-to-date firm to enhance our businesses by concentrating, intensifying, and streamlining our groups' technical development personnel in the Kaga Electronics headquarters, and by positively contracting business/capital alliances with venture firms domestically and abroad.

Thus, Kaga Electronics aims to become the best all-round trading company in the Japanese electronics industry by maintaining the firm's ability to withstand adversity by making the optimum use of the overall strength of each group of companies to respond in a timely manner to the dynamic trends of the global electronics industry.

Our firm's strengths

he concerted development of business and the management of risk are the company’s strengths

Kaga Electronics is an electronics-trading firm that is independent of those systemized companies affiliated to major manufacturers for the manufacture of semiconductors or electronic parts. The largest merit of being independent lies in the fact that we can freely develop any business from commodities into our global strategy without restriction.

The strength of the Kaga Electronics group comprises the following aspects:

  1. Each of the 56 companies of the Kaga Electronics group is affiliated with at least on of the 5 fields of business consisting of electronic products, semiconductors, EDMS, information equipment, and IT-related content, so that each company can respond to any demand involving electronics through cooperative dealings with other group companies.
  2. Since the Kaga Electronics group retains a large variety of suppliers and sales partners (about 2000 suppliers domestically and overseas, about 4000 sales partners and about 7000 sales accounts), it can expect stable profits without any effect from environmental change in any particular field within the industry.
  3. We can realize a profit through not only its function as a manufacturer through the development of the sales of EDMS businesses, but also through its excellent ability to procure parts extremely efficiently, especially self-brand semiconductors and peripherals.
  4. The 32 overseas affiliated companies enable the company to procure electronic parts from across the world, and to develop EDMS business.
  5. We can attend to clients' technical demands through designs for semiconductors, circuits, mecharisms, and industrial machines, as well as through hardware and software, thanks to our approximately 400 technical development personnel, a number that is far higher than usual in a trading company for electronic parts.
  6. We are now actively tackling new electronics-related business by collecting the latest information in the world through the networks of each of the group companies.

Business keynotes

Consolidation-Oriented Management

To continue growing and respond promptly to the dramatically changing environments of these days, our company has decided to place more importance on the consolidation-oriented management starting from the March term in 1999. We have decided to adopt as our group companies' fundamental policy: "to establish a firm which pleases all the people related to this group of companies, including our stockholders and clients, groups of employees etc.," and "to contribute to public good." Each of the group companies of Kaga Electronics aims to enhance business results in all the fields of the electronics industry through the timely management on the basis of rapid decision making by making the optimum use of the subjectivity of each company under the unified ideology of the group.
